Windows Media
Now-playing data from any local player, no auth needed
Windows Media
Shows the current track from whatever player is running on your PC — Spotify's own desktop app, a browser tab, VLC, and more — by reading Windows' System Media Transport Controls (SMTC). No authentication needed, and no separate account to connect.
Enabling
Just flip Enable integration on. There are no other fields — OBScure polls the system media session every few seconds while it's on.
Windows only: this integration does nothing on other platforms.
What you get once connected
Exactly the same shape of data as Spotify — wire it into an Audio Player node the same way, for {artist}/{title}/album art and track-change events. Use this instead of (or alongside) Spotify if you want Now Playing to reflect whatever is actually making sound on your PC, not specifically Spotify.
